Links
A request for information from an outside server or another location on the HarborCountry.com Web server.
Impressions
The number of times a visitor sees an advertisement on the site.
Hits
The number of times a server is accessed. “Hits” are almost meaningless to “Advertisers”, since each page, graphic, or page element could count as a “Hit.” You should make your advertising decisions based on “Impressions.”
Click-throughs
The number of times a visitor clicks on an advertisement, hyperlinking the visitor to the “Advertiser’s” Web site.
Clicks-per-Impression
A ratio that indicates the success of an advertisement by dividing “Click-throughs” by total “Impressions.” The quality and content of an ad greatly affects this ratio.
Multiplier
An number assigned to each advertisement (based on the number of “Impressions” purchased) that controls how often the ad is displayed in relation to other advertisements in the system. An ad with a multiplier of 2 is displayed twice as often as an ad with a multiplier of 1.
Redirects
A mechanism used by HarborCountry.com to count visits to an “Advertiser’s” Web site.
